A Transformers Parody Site This is a site about my childhood friends, no not the ones I haven't heard from in years, and can barely remember: The real ones, the ones that have been with me since '84 and show no sign of leaving. I, being a total geek, mean Transformers, G.I. Joe and the like. The strips started a few years back, originally as fan art for Matt Nelson's Superdeformers.com (which is why some of the strips have gag names for the characters), but since that site has sadly been gone now for some time I've picked up the torch and since then ran screaming with it. Please know that I make all of these jokes because it's because I love these cartoons and toy lines, quirks, flaws, and all, much in the same way people care about me. And I'd like to thank all those that have fed my toy addiction from childhood to today.

TMBGR is © Drake Fenwick 2005. Although it's all a parody of properly copyrighted things. An unauthorized parody, but then again what parodies are authorized? None of this is meant as copyright infringement, and is, instead, merely an incredible geeky thing for a lifelong fan to do. So I can only hope that Hasbro, Takara, Mainframe Entertainment, and all the others with a proper connection to the various Transformer series will see the humor in this site and won't send lawyers or Sharkticons. Or, worse, Sharkticon Lawyers... *shudder* |
